Celebrate GEOINT 2019

Join USGIF for the GEOINT 2019 Welcome Celebration tonight, 7-9 p.m., at the San Antonio River Walk’s South Bank! This is a great way to kickoff networking for the week and catch up with old and new colleagues while enjoying great food, beverage, and entertainment.

Venues include Barriba Cantina, Ben and Jerry’s, Hard Rock Cafe, Howl at the Moon, Merkaba, Paesano’s Riverwalk, and The County Line.

Be sure to checkin at the W. Crockett Street entry point between Hard Rock Cafe and Howl at the Moon. See you then!

GEOINT Foreword & Student Poster Sessions

GEOINT 2019 kicks off today with GEOINT Foreword, the pre-Symposium science and technology-focused day. Hear keynotes from quantum computing gurus as well as panel discussions and networking opportunities throughout the day.

Be sure to browse the student posters during Foreword and talk to undergraduate and graduate students about their research. You can also vote for your favorite student poster in the GEOINT 2019 mobile app under “Surveys.” The student with the most votes by 1 p.m. will win complimentary registration to GEOINT 2020, free one-year USGIF membership, and the opportunity to present their research on stage at GEOINT 2020’s GEOINT Foreword.

Join YPG For These Activities at GEOINT 2019

Are you a young professional attending GEOINT 2019? We have special activities planned for you to attend!

Monday and Tuesday at the YPG Lounge (located to the right of registration), hear from Jeff Jonas, founder and chief scientist of Senzing, and Dr. Steven Hall, deputy director for stakeholder engagement, analysis and GEOINT mission lead for AAA at NGA, respectively, in mentoring discussions from 4 to 5 p.m.

Be sure to also stop by the Young Professionals Networking Reception on Tuesday, 5-7 p.m. at the Broken Crust Cafe (located inside the convention center) to meet with other young professionals.
