Bringing together 4,045 attendees and 216 exhibiting organizations, USGIF’s GEOINT 2019 Symposium gathered the global GEOINT Community to discuss opportunities and solve challenges.
GEOINT 2019 was the 15th annual Symposium and this year’s theme was “Human-Machine Teaming & Innovation Yield Mission Success.” The event explored the incredible potential when machine learning is applied as a tool to assist human decision-making.
Among the attendees were 730 government and military personnel, including 262 employees of the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and significant representation from the U.S. Army, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Special Operations Command, the National Reconnaissance Office, and the city of St. Louis, Mo. There were 295 international attendees representing 33 countries—including 58 representatives from Canada and 80 from Japan. 236 young professionals and 113 participants from academia were also among this year’s attendees.
